Whale-Watching: Orcas, dolphins and whales can be seen in the Strait of Gibraltar. Between April to August you can take a boat from Tarifa going out to the Mediterranean and Atlantic Seas.
Climbing: Near Antequera you will find the 250 meter deep canyon “Garganta del Chorro”, one of the best climbing areas in Andalusia. A total of 600 varied routes for all abilities attract climbers from around the world. In the area around Campillos (Río de la Venta), there are about 60 climbs in a narrow canyon. The overhangs in the grotto of Archidona are among the toughest tours of Spain. Other climbing areas are located in Grazalema (Peñón Grande) and Benaocaz in the Sierra de Grazalema.
